India has witnessed innumerable customs long standing from times immemorial. These customs have time and again brought the nation on the threshold of destruction of its potential and dignity. The dogmatic approach which is followed is the root of such evil customs. But, as the history proves that whenever evil has raised its head divine powers have descended on this earth in the body of ordinary human beings to curb and neutralise it.
India was cursed with evil customs such as Devdasi, Sati Pratha, Polygamy, Dowry system and many more. To free the nation people like Rani Laxmi Bai, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Ishwar Chand Vidyasagar, Dayanand Saraswati, Swami Vivekanand, Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma and many more blessed this earth by their courage, wisdom, free thinking and compassion. They dedicated their whole life to eradication of these evil customs and spreading awareness and educating people. Also, to achieve this The Father of Indian Constitution Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has been an extraordinary paragon.
In this direction following such leaders DIYA family has been promoting such practices which lead to eradication of such customs. We are dedicated to fight these customs in every manner and have an army of individuals who believe in fighting such evil customs.
We have a vision of creating a future where there is no dowry system. Marriages are an affair of love and unification rather than a trade of money. The journey starts with transforming ourselves and then reaching out to the public at large and appealing them to shed these customs followed and believed blindly in the name of religion.
Religion and faith, which are such profound experiences for humanity, should be the key to freedom of thoughts instead these have been converted into tools of manipulation using which our thoughts are controlled and trained to think in a specific way. These limit our thoughts and thus limit our lives and progress.
Our ideology is to present religion and faith in simplest way possible, reveal its true nature and use them as tools of mental freedom and free ourselves from slavery of the evil customs.
